Main Stage works with soccer athletes ages 8 through 18 — from early development years through high school senior year. Every tier is personalized to age and experience level.
Main Stage is soccer-only in Phase 1 — across boys' and girls' soccer, all positions. Other sports may come later, but for now we're building what we know.
The membership (everything digital — profile, Academy, video review, strategy sessions) is available anywhere in the Mid-Atlantic — Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. Our in-person à la carte coaching with LJ is based in Easton, MD. In-person showcases will roll out across the region over the first 18 months.
SportsRecruits is the recruiting platform college coaches actually use to find and evaluate players. Every MSA member gets a full SportsRecruits profile as part of their membership — so your athlete is visible on the platform college coaches are searching from day one.
SportsRecruits is the platform. Main Stage is the platform plus the playbook. Our annual Foundation price — $399/year — matches what SportsRecruits charges families directly for a Pro profile. So for the same price, you get the profile and the self-paced Recruiting Academy, the parent dashboard, the member community, and Spotlight eligibility. Upgrade to Performance or Elite when you want coach-directed video review, strategy sessions, and human guidance.
No. Main Stage is a service that goes on top of whatever club your athlete already plays for. We don't form teams, run travel leagues, or tell your club coach what their tactics should be. Keep playing for your club. MSA fills the recruiting and development gaps the club doesn't have time to cover.
Yes. LJ's à la carte coaching is available as a standalone service in Easton, MD. MSA members get priority scheduling and discounted rates; non-members book at a slightly higher rate.
Yes. Foundation includes a SportsRecruits profile; if you already have training and guidance in place and just want the profile, Foundation at $49/month (or $399/year) is the right fit. If you want coach-directed video review, strategy sessions, or hands-on outreach drafting, that's Performance or Elite.
No, and you should be skeptical of anyone who does. Recruiting has too many variables for any service to guarantee an outcome. Your SportsRecruits profile is live within days of signing up. The Academy lessons start the same week. For athletes in active recruiting (ages 15+), meaningful progress — coach responses, visit invitations, verbal interest — typically shows up over 3 to 6 months of consistent work. Younger athletes are planting seeds that bloom in high school.

Head coach LJ Hicks anchors the coaching and Elite advisor bench from Easton, MD. Contracted advisors join the bench in Year 2 as member volume grows. Every reviewer is a former college or professional player with coaching experience, vetted personally by LJ and Eugene.
Main Stage is a Club customer of SportsRecruits — meaning MSA pays SportsRecruits directly for member profiles, and athletes activate their profile from a SportsRecruits-branded email after MSA adds them to the roster. 'Powered by SportsRecruits' appears on MSA materials with SportsRecruits's written permission. Your athlete's data is governed by both the Main Stage privacy policy and SportsRecruits's terms.
